Exiting yasuni jungle tour

DAY 1.-
Quito- Coca- Shiripuno-Quemeneweno Bridge
-You can travel from Quito to Coca by private or public bus, and the journey
takes 8 hours.
– The tour starts at 9:00 am in Coca, with a 2-hour ride in our private transport
to the entrance of Yasuní Park.
– Explanations, suggestions, and passenger registrations are provided before
the tour begins.
– There is a 3-hour motor canoe ride to the destination point, Quemeneweno,
where the camping site is set up.
LATE
-We will explore the surrounding area in our motor canoes to observe the lush
flora and fauna.
EVENING
-There will be a night hike to search for a variety of nocturnal insects,
including tarantulas, frogs, night snakes, and more.
-Dinner

DAY 2.-
Quemeneweno – Giant Ceibos Island
-Early in the morning, birdwatching along the Shiripuno River.
BREAKFAST
-We will continue quietly paddling in rowboats for 3 hours in search of otters
and raptors such as the harpy eagle.
LUNCH
-Free time for rest.
-Arrival at the designated site, the Island of Giant Ceibos,
and observation of this magnificent ecosystem.
– Campsite setup and a refreshing swim in the
Shiripuno River.
AFTERNOON
-Observation of the romantic sunset amidst
the natural insect concert.
– Search for caimans, nocturnal snakes,
night monkeys, etc.
DINNER
-Rest.

DAY 3.-

BREAKFAST
– Hikes in the primary forest, explanation of medicinal plants, and survival lessons.
-Demonstration of the preparation of toxic curare poison and an explanation of
blowgun usage.
-Continuing our journey on the Shiripuno River for 3 hours, with great bird and
parrot sighting opportunities.
– Exploration of the parrot clay licks near the river.
-Arrival at the designated site, Pava Island, and setting up our camp.
LUNCH
-Fishing for piranhas.
– Free time for rest.
– Observation of the romantic sunset.
DINNER
– Building a campfire and explanations of ancient jungle secrets.
-Rest.

DAY 4.-

BREAKFAST
– We will continue navigating the Shiripuno River for 3 hours, then merge into the
Cononaco River and continue our journey.
-Great opportunities to observe the river snake called ANACONDA.
-Arrival at the designated site, the Woarani Omere community, and camp setup.
LUNCH
-Free time for rest.
-Explanations about their customs and
observation of their crafts.
AFTERNOON
-Woarani indigenous people will introduce
us to the preparation of traditional yucca beer
known as chicha.
– Explanations about the use and handling
of the blowgun.
DINNER
-goodbye cocktail
-Rest
DAY 5.-
Omere community-Cononaco river-Shiripuno riverShiripuno

BREAKFAST
-We will return in our motor canoes along the Cononaco River and
Shiripuno River for a duration of 7 hours.
LUNCH
-Arrival at the designated site, the Shiripuno River bridge.
-We will return in our private transportation to the city of Coca.
-End of our services.

– Three daily meals with water.
