Day 1.
Quito-Cuyabeno bridge- Lodge:
Travel by bus (one day before, approximately eight hours to the bridge of Cuyabeno). Then by canoe along the Cuyabeno River (approximately three hours), our bilingual guides, certified by the Ministry of the Environment, will explain about the flora and fauna of the sector.
Arrival at Canangueno Lodge for lunch, relaxing time, and then upstream we will visit the Laguna Grande to observe a beautiful sunset and return we will observe alligators and after dinner, night walk.
Day 2.
Visit to native community:
After breakfast we will visit the Siona Seoqueya Community of Tarapuy accompanied by our guides that will explain the cultures and traditions. Additionally, there will be a demonstration of the making of earrings, necklaces, shigras (woven bags), and casabe (yuca bread).
At afternoon we will enjoy the magic of nature by the Cuyabeno River listening to bird calls, monkeys, and- with a little luck- catch a glimpse of pink dolphins and much more.
Day 3.
Cuyabeno Lodge-Bridge-Lago-Agrio-Quito.
Enjoy animal watching at 6:00am by the Cuyabeno River before returning for breakfast. Depart from the Lodge at 9:30am to the Puente and arrive to Lago Agrio in the afternoon. Take a bus or plane back to Quito.
